Native American Flute Music: Where the Heart is

Welcome, I am honored that you have taken the time to stop by.
My name is Vince Chafin, and it is my intention to create music that reflects the love in my heart for all life, and to bring healing and peace to all that hear it.
Though I play several instruments, this site is mostly dedicated to the Native American Flute, the Anasazi Flute and the "Hang" and music I create with them. The Native American Flute and the Anasazi Flutes are both indigenous to North America and though spanned all across America, they are mostly associated with the people of the South West.
The Hang in a new instrument from Switzerland that sounds like a gong, Tibetan bells and steel drums all melted together with honey and water....Alluring and intoxicating.......
It is said that you do not play the flute, you breath through it. Rumi, one of the greatest Sufi poets, talked about breathing this way: "There is a way of breathing that's a shame and suffocation, and there's another way of expiring a LOVE Breath, that lets you open to infinity."
I am deeply honored every time I get a chance to play, and every time I expire, I think, LOVE.
